Strong on looks, average in function

First off: this card case looks great. It is in black and has a leather look, although it is artificial leather, not genuine leather. It's produced by TCC Playing Card Co, so be aware that it has their logo TCC stamped into the leather on the front. The zipper is a bit oversized, but that makes it easy to grab. So the looks are good.

But it isn't as functional as I was hoping. One issue I found is that the zipper has the potential to catch on the tuck box inside. The deck is designed to fit inside reasonably snugly, so when you unzip the case, the zipper will sometimes catch on the edge of the box, because the zipper is often in contact with the card box. This results in problems like scratches to the box, or worse: it can catch a corner and pull back the bottom or top of the deck, as I experienced in one instance. I'm more careful with opening it now, and hope to avoid this happening in the future, but I have heard from others who had the same happen. So: an average rating.
