World War II Airplane Spotter Playing Cards

This facsimile Spotter Cards deck identifies 52 different aircraft including Allied bombers and fighters, as well as Axis aircraft from Germany, Japan, and Italy. Each card features detailed silhouettes from three different angles: front view, side view, and a view of the bottom of the aircraft, as it would be seen by a ground observer.

Airplane Spotter Playing Cards now have playing card indices and the deck includes Jokers, so the deck can be used for playing most traditional card games.

The poker size playing cards are brand new and sealed in cello wrap but the outer box is not sealed and may show light wear.

Published by US Games Systems and printed in Italy.

Classic historical deck

I love historical and vintage decks, so I was immediately drawn to this one, because the Spotter decks are famous from the world wars. The cards are all different, featuring different planes, and replicate cards from real spotter decks actually used. The only negative is that it's published by US Game Systems, so it doesn't use quality embossed card stock like Bicycle and other decks from USPCC. The cards feel quite thick and smooth and slippery, and don't handle nearly as well as a regular deck, making it less than suitable for card games. But it is nice as a collector's item, and I feel like I'm owning a piece of history.
