Viper Tally-Ho Fan Back Playing Cards
Viper Tally-Ho Fan Back Playing Cards
Enter the Viper... black, reverse-image playing cards with a buffed, metallic SILVER finish. The Viper injects elegance and forceful authority into a deck that was already spectacular.
The technologically advanced Air Cushion Finish makes handling these cards a breeze and pure joy.
We've taken the standard Tally-Ho deck and improved the look, design and feel.
With the help of the USPCC, Ellusionist has produced one of the best looking and best feeling decks of cards available. Quality control experts at USPCC sat down and went over the production process of the Tally-Ho Viper in order to find out how to improve on the quality of the final product.
The results of that meeting produced the finest cards available to consumers. Thick stock resulting in a crisp clean snap to each card. Our Air Cushion finish with a smooth-as-silk feel, allow these cards to fan and be manipulated freely and easily.
And finally a beautiful new look. It's time to go metallic.
It looks really cool and feels like other tally hos, it seemed to perform quite well in the individual tests I use for the review but as I practiced with it I seemed to have difficulty combining several moves together. After hours of playing, it still maintained a very high level of performance in a few areas including its’ fans, dribbles, and the single card glide but it sloughed off enough in the other areas that it is no longer reliable for performing my full repertoire of slights, flourishes, and routines.
I’ve never been much of a “fan” of the “fan back” design. Not gonna lie. It’s just one of those things. Once I owned some Circle Back tally’s, I’ve never wanted to go back! UNTIL those new Bicycle Summer Fan Backs that just came out, and I’m ALL OVER that deck.
Anyway. Recently, I had opened a newly acquired Black Tiger Deck, from Walgreens, (including an E x Walgreens ad card! Totally nuts.) That Deck was one of my least favorite E x USPCC print runs. Idk. Very disappointed.
So, I anticipated that this Tally Deck would end up turning out feeling the same way.
Surely enough, absolutely the exact opposite! This deck is amazing-ish!
Great work!
Best,
-M.A.
I really wish that there was a white or silver boarder around the cards. The black gets dinged up too quickly. Still an okay deck though.
The cards are black and black. Way too much black, and this is coming from someone who loves Emo and gothic things. Maybe there is a gimmick place for these, but it isn't at the poker table or in a magic act.
tally ho viper fan backs, are black and silver paint , with standard bicycle court cards and with the top quality Air Cushion Finish as we all know and love from the USPCC. These cards are a definite buy for cardists , magician alike , great to have in the collection, they perform perfectly right out of the box .
