They say trends come and go, well it looks like an old trend is coming out of hiding. Collectable Playing Cards and Classics Playing Cards introduce the VHS Playing Cards! They dug through the attic and dusted these historic fossils off to bring to you! Yes, the cards do slide out of the side like a real VHS tape! Get these retro playing cards for your collection.

The court cards are sketched onto a black grid and the most retro fitted colors were chosen. These royals pop like the 80s.

The numbered cards are also hand drawn to make it look like scribble. These also lay onto a black grid which expose the numbers and pips.

The back card is the actual VHS tape in all of its glory. No need to worry, it comes rewound.

Even the the jokers are retro with an old-timey clown. Not too scary, not too childish, just right.

2016 Release.

Great nostalgia deck

This may not be the most practical deck out there, but it sure is fun and packs a ton of great nostalgia! The side-load is a must on this deck, mimicking the old VHS side-load sleeves. The aging effects are appropriate and it looks great. The cards even have the graph-paper look and the stripe motifs from those old video cassettes. The cards themselves are fine and have printing to the very edge, so they will eventually show signs of wear more than a deck with a white boarder, but even then it will look fine and fit right in. I would not recommend it for magic, but as a bit or nostalgic gimmick, it's just right!
