👍I LOVE THEM......AND I DON'T EVEN PLAY CARDS😂!
cheap in integrity.
This deck is great. I was halfway just expecting it to be silly pictures of random well known horror monsters, fortunately it's so much more than that. Each card has the vintage promotional poster from a classic film. And some of these films are deep cuts too, which any real horror fan can appreciate. It's a great deck with a great theme at a really great price. What more could you ask for?
Totally enjoyed them and can't hardly wait to give them yo my family for Christmas !
The best feature of this deck is definitely the artwork. Posters and stills from vintage horror movies from around the world are featured -- some obscure, some famous, but all fun and interesting. Magicians will be disappointed as there is no air cushion finish (which affects handling), and no gaffs or specialty cards. Also the back is a one-way design, which limits the performance of certain tricks. But collectors will certainly enjoy the assortment.
One weird factoid: the Joker designs are images of two stamps from the 1997 USPS issue of "Classic Monsters" -- the Phantom of the Opera and the Wolfman. (I bet they didn't get permission for THOSE images!) They seem out of place with all the other images. But definitely a fun deck to own for the movie / horror buff. Enjoy!
