Styx White Bicycle Playing Cards

The death's head moth back is striking, and always reminds me of Silence of the Lambs. Nick did a wonderful job on it.

This deck delivers what you would expect from the USPCC. It handles quite well and should deliver excellent the same handling characteristics as their stock cards. The back design is quite detailed, but despite the amount of detail, it's not excessively busy. The back design is a two-way design so this deck will work well for any magic tricks. The face of the cards is not the standard printing one expects. The pips seem slightly larger than normal. One thing I like in the court card is the metallic-looking ink used for accents against contrasting black and red ink. The deck does include two gaff cards for magic tricks, one blank, the other is a sort of a "negative" of the back of the card. The identical jokers are fashioned from eight hands holding snakes heads, radiating outward from an eye in the center. Identical jokers are useful in some magic tricks. This is a great deck to include in any starter collection.
