It is a limited and numbered edition. The tuck case is very luxurious with embossing and foil. The numbered cards are delicate, and this worn background reinforces their medieval inspiration. The back shows a traditional intricate design made with natural shapes.

I'm going to give this deck a 4 star review. The cards are thicker than most and they handle a bit stiff, so we'll have to see how long it takes to break them in. The artwork is what makes the deck for me as well as the fact that it's a limited edition; numbered on the tuck seal. I'm a sucker for artwork. Fans are a bit sticky, and I couldn't get it to faro without some difficulty. I believe it's the way the cards are cut that give them a sharp edge. The tuck box is nice with embossed deep red print and artwork (the king of Hearts). I did not receive a double back card as the above description suggests, so either this is a one-off and was never included in this particular deck, or it doesn't come with one. This deck is good for collectors especially because of the artwork, and the limited production of 1600 decks.
i bought the mystery deck and this is what i got and i cant thank playingcarddecks.com enough! these are meant to be collected so the handlining is not great, but the artwork on the courts are incredible!
The colour and tuckcase give me a feeling of watching Dracula - the portrait stare creepily at me. but i like it
