2019 Release
I like this deck, but it does have some issues. The courts are great as always and I like the way they are slightly customized by being recolored and incorporating related food items. They still retain enough of the standard design to be easily recognizable. The tuck case is awesome. I don’t like the fact that there is no colors swap on the spades or clubs and I also think the yellow color used instead of red on the diamonds and hearts is hard to see. The yellow gets lost against the white background on the jokers as well. I really dig the lemons against the light blue on the card backs, but this is not my favorite Squeezers deck.
The Squeezers v2 Playing Cards printed at USPCC are unique and perfectly designed for that Sunday lemonade feeling.
I'm a big fan of this series of decks, which also includes the Peelers (banana theme) and Snackers (strawberry theme). The first Squeezers featured orange juice, and the style of this box matches that one exactly, but now it's lemons. The colours of the court cards have also been adjusted to fit with the yellow lemon theme. Great quality and handling too!
