We wanted to make a deck that captured our favorite season, and what better way to do that than having a deck inspired by apples! Freshly picked from the organic orchard, Slicers feel crisp and smooth, just like a Granny Smith apple. We also gave the courts our favorite fall treats like caramel apples and apple cider.
Printed by USPC on Bee stock with a premium finish, this deck is perfect for a nice fall day. Limited edition of 3000.
We also have fun little details hidden in the boxes. Including Nibbler and a note from Grandma. Grab some friends, pack your baskets, and have a card-filled picnic!
2019 Release
This is the first OPC deck that I purchased. So, maybe that partially explains why it holds a special place in my heart. The courts are great as usual, and I always enjoy the way they are slightly customized by being recolored and incorporating related food items. I do feel that the back design is reminiscent of the game apples to apples. However, I love I the green color used instead of black on the spades and clubs and maybe I’m wrong, but the red on the diamonds and hearts seems more vibrant than on a standard deck. The jokers and ace of spades look great and I really like the tuck case on this deck as well, especially the little worm on the back.
Who would have thought that putting fruit themed cards on the market would be such a hit? This is definitely a unique deck that entices people through its unique colorings and customized cards. I definitely enjoy the the court cards which theme themselves off of apple based interactions such as pies, juices, and baskets of apples.
