OPC has made another fun deck with Roasters. The designs continue to be well thought out and the usage of light and dark "coffee" browns is quite nice. The courts offer fun knick-knacks and coffee related paraphernalia. Overall handling is smooth and fun with a great back design.
I just recently got into OPC cards with their blueberry snackers. I love coffee and liked the idea... and the barista art pattern on the back is well done. The cards have a nice finish and are holding up well. This is actually the deck i got the one hand riffle shuffle down with, needless to say i have been rough on em.. i will always remember this deck as its tied to learning the move! Great cards!
I like that OPC is branching out and trying new things. The courts are great as always and I like the way they are slightly customized by being recolored and incorporating related food items. They still retain enough of the standard design to be easily recognizable. I feel that the tuck case falls a little flat compared to some of the OPC staples like the snackers, peelers or squeezers. I like the dark brown used in instead of black on the spades and clubs, as well as the light brown used instead of red on the diamonds and hearts. I also like the way a coffee pot is made to look like an upside-down spade on the ace of spades, but it is very similar to the way a pitcher was used in the squeezer decks. The jokers are just okay. The back design is a nice departure from the norm and it works really well. This isn’t my favorite OPC deck, but it’s not my least favorite either.
