Redux Go Half Size Playing Cards
Redux Go Half Size Playing Cards
The Redux Go Deck is a new, exciting and ultra portable deck that is part of Flagrant Agenda's Kickstarter Project, Agenda Playing Card Redux. The main idea for Redux Go Deck is about making a move and being mobile, settling in nicely with the core concepts of Agenda Redux on change and transformation with change, and transformation as signifying moving from the present to an ideal future. The Redux Go Deck is partly inspired by other portable deck projects, as well as Chinese playing cards, which feature such strip-like dimensions prominently in various forms.
Redux Go Deck is produced and distributed by Flagrant Agenda and features:
- Custom pressed tuck case printed with premium blue uncoated paper and white and gold hot foil stamping
- Printed on German Black Core paper
- Cardistry finish
- Custom Court cards (JQK), Jokers and Aces
- 2019 Release
I didn't realize they would actually be half thr size of a normal deck. Not mad at all its actually cool. Now I can say I own one of the smallest decks of cards. Its all in good fun!
Those are the words that really sum up this deck. It's half the size of standard decks. But it's so funny. The novelty is quickly gotten over since it's a little difficult to play with them. Practicality is not the point, though. So nothing lost there. Just a really funky, fun addition to your collection.
These are "half sized" cards in width (or so I'm assuming, I didn't take an exact measurement). This was a bonus add-on to a Kickstarter campaign from Hidden Agenda. I think the Agenda cards as a whole are fine products, and I'm sorry to say I missed their latest Kickstarter campaign for the red backed and the blue backed decks. I like quirky, but this deck is almost too quirky, as it feels more like I'm holding Chinese dominoes than playing cards. The tones of deep blue, gold, and white are beautiful, but those same tones are used for every card, with no color differentiation between hearts / diamonds and spades / clubs. The artwork is nice, but for the above reasons, if I would have paid attention and known what these cards actually were before I ordered them, I probably wouldn't have ordered them.
These 1/2 size cards are great lookers. The deep blue and gold accents give them a high quality appearance. They are cut with precision so the feel is nice on the finger tips. My plan is to use these as bookmarks that will be conversation starters. My only negative about these is not actually with the cards themselves, but that I misunderstood the order only comes with one deck. I was hoping to keep a full deck and use the second deck as bookmarks. Overall I'm pleased with this deck.
