Old Time Christmas Angels Playing Cards

Angels are beloved messengers of Yuletide joy and holiday spirit. For this charming playing card deck, U.S. Games has collected 54 vintage Christmas postcards from the turn of the century. Each card features a different Victorian angel scene, embellished with gold accents. The card backs feature a host of radiant angels. The deck is suitable for many traditional card games and is ideal as a holiday stocking stuffer.

The bridge size playing cards are brand new and sealed in cello wrap but the outer box is not sealed and may show light wear.

Even better than I expected

I was surprised to find that the cards are plastic coated. They separated easily when thumped. Good if you plan on having them out at parties, but don't stick them in your attic with the rest of your holiday decor after. :)

As the angel images are from old postcards, it's understandable that some of them aren't as crisp as others, but they all look nice. I think these would probably work great as a gift for someone into period holiday illustrations, even if they're not into card games. I'll probably put them in protector pages to show them off as a set of art cards, actually.

Definitely Old Christmas

The deck is definitely old style Christmas. If you are in to that sort of thing, this deck is great for you. Art work is good.

Artwork

This deck has amazing artwork on the face cards and tuckbox. This is an amazing deck and would highly recommend it to anyone that collects cards.
