OG Federal 52 Playing Cards USPCC
OG Federal 52 Playing Cards
The "OG" Federal 52 is an almost exact reproduction of the very first Kings Wild deck ever designed and produced. Until now the OG Federal 52 has never been reprinted and by most playing card collectors and enthusiasts are considered one of the cornerstones of the custom playing card world.
It is with great pride and excitement we have finally reprinted this very special deck to us and to many of the original supporters.
The OG Federal 52 was printed by The United States Playing Card Company.
The only changes we have made from the first edition are enlarged index numbers and letters to help with easier readability. Also, new custom plate IDs and serial numbers are on all of the court cards and aces.
The easiest way to tell the difference between the first print run from 2013 and the new print run is by looking at the bottom of the box. You will find a new add copy. Also, the new print run does NOT have a green seal with the Kings Wild logo.
2022 Release
I am a fan of cards printed with fine-line detail, and this one fits the bill. This exquisite design by Jackson Robinson is amazing and thoughtful. His collaboration with USPCC produced to top-notch deck anyone would want to hold in their hands. They print these cards with black, green ink on the backs, and black, silver, red and green ink on the faces of the cards. They chose a light tan stock which gives them the same look as US currency. You will find an extreme amount of detail on the court cards and aces. The deck comes with one double-backed card. The jokers are not your typical jokers but are much more ornate. One is an eagle with a three of diamond in his beak. The other is an angel holding an ace in its hand. One other handy card describes each court card with the historic person on the card and the specific denomination currency “note” it represents. The box sports three brilliant green metallic US Treasury Seals, one tuck lid and two on the face of the box. This deck should be in every serious collector’s collection. When I purchased these, there were only a few decks remaining in inventory. I should have ordered more. Darn.
