Monarch blue is the first that I've got of the series, I'm definitely getting the green and will likely get the rest eventually. The tuck case is incredible - feels regal and I love that. I rarely find myself actually liking the seal on a deck of cards - and on some decks, if I think I can get it off without the gunk, I'll do it - but with this deck (a lot of theory 11 decks are like this, now that I think of it) I actually like the seal a lot. I cut around the seal (along the dip in the tuck case) with an xacto knife so that the case is easy to open, but from a distance it looks sealed still.

Very nice

As always, Theory 11 delivers a beautiful deck that handles well. The back design, the ace of spades, and jokers are very nice. I love the dark blue color

Every day carry

These are some of my favorite cards! The tuck box is beautiful, and the cards are high quality! I have a blue and black leather protective sleeve that I keep a pack in and carry everywhere! Great for magic and card games as well, this deck is my every day carry for both.

The simplicity of Monarchs

Monarchs have been around for many years and have garnered a bit of attention. I rate these a five star not because of anything groundbreaking, but due to the elegance of such a deck melding excellent artwork, a great tuck box, great feeling cards, and traditionally simple face cards. The price point for Theory 11 decks is excellent given the feel and quality of the cards. Theory 11 was one of my first forays into the custom card world, and I can say that they are well deserving of the accolades. These cards continue to feel great with a great finish, fan easily, and are easily recognizable on a table or in magic routines. Monarchs aren't the prettiest girl around, but boy does she look good where she is comfortable!

1,2,3, MAGIC!

Looking for something for cardistry? Go somewhere else, these are for sleight of hand only, don't you dare use these for poker or other card games. They deserve to do color changes, they deserve to do passes, they deserve to do magic only. These are cheap, they feel great right out of the box, and when cards are cheap and feel great they are only for street magic.
