Memento Mori Playing Cards Deck USPCC

$16.99 USD

The Memento Mori Playing Cards designed by Michael Mateyko of KOMBOH CREATIVE, the traditional suits have been re-imagined to create stars, swords, flies, and feathers: symbols of order, aspiration, chaos, and scavenging, respectively. The imagery adorning both the cards and ominous embossed tuck call attention to medieval existentialism, the occult, and divine mathematics; and believe us when we say, when we first saw them, we were speechless.

Printed by The United States Playing Card Company and packaged inside a custom tuck box featuring foil accents and a unique die-cut window with clear-plastic covering.

Limited edition of only 2,500 decks.

2016 Release.

An unusual and artistic deck from Art of Play

You can tell that the Memento Mori deck is an unusual set of playing cards when you first set your eyes on the box ... and it sets its eyes on you! Instead of using traditional suits, there are stars, swords, flies, and feathers, each representing order, aspiration, chaos, and scavenging. The cards are a bold/vibrant red, and feature imagery that is unusual. This is a powerful deck that leaves a strong impression the moment you see just one of the cards, never mind the entire deck!
