Maduro Gold Edition!

I have number 0352 out of 1750 on the green and white stamp sealing the deck. I have another deck for collecting. My friend calls these cards "The Glory". There's an outer box that looks like a fancy wooden cigar box. The year is printed on the outside of this box. The box is smooth and looks like wood. It has a lid that lifts like a cigar box and has a magnetic portion to keep it closed. The cards themselves are kind of like a splotched coffee color. All the other colors that form the design stick out well. The hearts and diamonds are red. The clubs and spades are white. They are outlined. The joker is lounging in a moon, and he's blowing smoke-O's from a cigar. You want to keep these cards nice. Don't let people you know fool around with them. Someone pulled the lid back too far on the outer box I have and the box lost part of its function. If you're careful with them, that won't happen. 1 Thessalonians 4:11 is printed on the flap with the actual verse in the bottom inside of the inner box. The inner box, which fits inside the outer box is a brownish box kind of like the Silver Edition, but with less embellishments. They are standard size playing cards and they are good cards. There are colors: brown, gold, red, green and white and black, and what looks like a little dark green the main design on the backs of the cards. I bought one box to open and one to keep in my collection. The price tag seems a little steep, at first, but I would definitely recommend this deck!

Maduro's Gold

Jackson Robinson has just been on a tear this year creating a huge number of different deck designs this year. The Maduro set was funded through Kickstarter way back in February of 2018. This was the deck that started off the amazing run of 2018 Jackson creations. A Maduro Gold deck would have set you back almost the same on Kickstarter as what playingcarddecks.com is offering right hear without having to put your money up front and wait nearly a year. Once these are gone, I doubt they will sell for anything close to this in the secondary market. The box design shows off Jackson's meticulous attention for detail in his design. The cards are playful and yet delightfully portray the spirit of Maduro cigars brought to life in playing card format. Keep the Maduro Gold for a unique display piece and the Maduro Silver to open and enjoy the cards.
