Litchi Grain Leather Playing Card Guard Clip

Litchi Grain Leather Playing Card Guard Clip

Available in Black & Ivory

A great card clip, in addition to providing protection for your deck of cards, should be an accessory that presents you as a true professional. A good card man deserves excellent card clips.

This clip has a fine and uniform texture, soft and comfortable.
  • Made of leather and stainless steel.
  • Unique patterns make it handle gentler and is more comfortable.
  • The details of the jaws' design make it relatively smooth when playing cards are inserted into it.
  • Stainless and durable steel material, in perfect shape.
Designed to protect a pack of 54 poker-size playing cards in their tuck case, the clip measures approximately 9.1cm x 6.8cm x 2.1cm. Each clip has a black case.

Black card clip

I think that card clips can be incredibly useful, especially for straightening out the cards of a slightly warped deck. I opted for the black one rather than the ivory one, and the look is reasonably classy, but not outstanding. I'm a bit sceptical about the durability of the card clip, and whether the stainless steel is strong enough to do the job, compared with carbon fibre clips. But they are also frightfully expensive, so for the price, what you get here is pretty decent - certainly much better than the cheap clips found on eBay.

A little too big

I bought a classic clip from Art of Play and loved it so I thought I would give this one a try. Unfortunately, although the design is great and the leather feels nice, the clip itself is a little too loose to hold my pack of bicycle playing cards. I even keep the jokers so the deck is 54 cards. The description states it protects 54, but I think it protects 56. If I give the clip a shake while the deck is in it, the deck actually comes out of the clip a little. Overall a disappointing purchase.
