Legal Tender Chinese Playing Cards EPCC

$29.99 USD

This deck is a series of illustrated playing cards by Jackson Robinson, inspired by the currencies of the world.

These currencies are beautifully presented on the cards' faces, each different and brilliantly portrayed. The Great Wall of China is dramatically shown on the two Jokers, half on one and half on the other.

This deck is sure to be a conversation starter.

2017 Release.

Even better than the Legal Tender US version

Having been to China and actually handled the Yuan, I can say that JR has really put in the time and research to learn about the Chinese Yuan. The colours and details put into this deck beats the his US deck hands down. (Well, the US currency is mostly green! But still...)

It may seem that he just lifted the art from the notes and to put it into cards; the level of detail is amazing. He captures the yuan so well that you might think this was designed by the PRC yuan artist/s themselves and not an American in Texas.

He even put Chinese writing on the courts to describe their rank (K,Q,J). It is those little touches and detailed artwork that sets apart Jackson as one of the best playing card designers in the business right now. This can be one of the decks you display when someone asks you what's the fuss about playing cards.
