Kubik Marked Playing Cards
Kubik Playing Cards is a Rubik Cube Themed Deck of Cards. Designed by Menno Brouwers. Printed by Cartamundi with the New TRUE LINEN B9 FINISH.
Limited Edition of 2000.
Every card back is different, so they are essentially considered a marked deck that must be memorized as their is no logic to the marking system, as far as we know? Can you solve the puzzle?
2019 Release
Our family and friends love the Rubik's cube, so this was a must-buy for me. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to the card backs, so I wouldn't use it as a marked deck. But there are two gaff cards included, which are double sized cards that show the squares in one colour. I use these to do a routine where I "change" the colour of the whole deck, first it's all one colour, and then it is all scrambled; then I do a colour change to restore the deck, just like you'd fix the cube. You'll have to come up with your own ideas for routines, but people I've shown this to really seem to like the deck.
This deck is interesting - the stock is thicker than most decks you have handled, but i love the feel of it, like a fusion between air cushion and smooth finish. The ad said "Every card back is different" - well not really, they are essentially 13 different backs. So if you are a rubik player or could memorize the patern, you can easily use the "marking system" of this deck
