Karnival Hornets Playing Cards
A beautiful borderless 'Skull & Crossbones' back design.
Karnival Hornets are printed on high grade Bee Stock for a slick & smooth feel
Brand new back design, Ace Of Spades, Jokers and Tuck Case.
Can be integrated with standard bicycle cards and other decks from the Karnival-Inc range for creating super cool routines!
Brought to you by Big Blind Media, the Bicycle Karnival Hornets Deck has the USPCC world famous Air Flow Finish for superb handling and unparalleled durability.
This incredible new limited edition design for the Bicycle Deck was created by renowned French artist Sam Hayles.
Three amazing card reveals built into the deck:
- A bonus card which shows the torn corner of a '6 of Hearts'
- One of the Jokers has an '3 of Spades ' being carried away by a Hornet!
- A hidden 'King Of Clubs' on the boxes barcode
The card faces are nice but not anything special. The extra cards and the box do add to the value for doing some tricks here and there. But, honestly, in the few hours I've been playing with these, I've really come to love this deck's back design.
The very small, very fine skull and crossbones on the back with no border really make it difficult to follow some sleight of hand card manipulation. There are some tricks I typically prefer the standard Bee decks for due to the checkerboard back and absence of borders; my recent top pick being the black and white Signature series deck. This deck may take that spot.
The deck is smooth coming out of the box and feels like it won't need too much handling in order to be broken in perfectly.
I'm not sure I can recommend this deck to anyone looking for cards with a design that will visually wow them or their friends, but this deck is a must for some of the fledgling sleight of hand artists out there.
After breaking in the deck, the cards were perfect. I especially love the back design.
