Guitar Cards

The detailed artwork on each card are in enriched colors and designs of different guitars. In addition, there is a plastic pick which comes with each deck. The cards are packed in a plastic box. Another nice collectable set!!

Very well done. A fun gift for the guitarist in your life.

I made my full-time living as a professional musician for twenty years. I have a guitar collection somewhere around 20 instruments, mostly Fenders. My wife put this card deck in my Christmas stocking.I like nice things and this deck is very nice. Feel great in hand. The graphics are very well done. Probably half the deck is Fender and Gibson style guitars. The rest are more obscure, but still recognizable to a true gear head.I like it enough I will take care so the deck will last. A solid gift for the guitarist in your life.

Good quality images

Each card has a different guitar pictured. Pretty colorful images. The cards are decent quality playing cards. The cardboard box for the deck has a hard plastic box to keep them in good shape. I wouldn't recommend using this deck for speed games, as it is harder to recognize the suit and color of each card at a glance.

Beautiful enhanced pics of guitars

I love the look of guitars. IMHO they are works of art. This deck of playing cards takes that idea to a higher level. The artist(s) took pictures of different guitars, then enhanced the images with (usually) vibrant colors. The result is a beautiful set of color-saturated images of all kinds of guitars. A cursory review of the deck suggests that there are no duplications of identical images, so you have 52 different pictures of guitars. As you can expect with that many choices, there are some that are very nice and others where I think the colors are so vivid that they detract from the natural beauty of the instruments. But overall, this is a great item and would make a very nice gift for any guitar-loving friend or family member. I also like that it comes in a plastic case to protect the cards. I can’t tell if the cards are plastic coated. I suspect not which is a shame because I’m afraid to use these since they are so beautiful. I’m trying to think of some way to display them where they won’t be damaged. Great product.

Excellent artwork, good quality cards

This is for the Guitar Odyssey playing cards.I hadn’t played solitaire outside of a computer for a long time, so I decided why not – this deck is far more interesting than a standard deck of cards. I was right; I just didn’t realize how right I was. Each card features a unique photograph of a guitar edited with color and filters and who knows what else. The images are beautiful and dynamic, and I spent quite a while just going through the deck looking at all the pretty pictures, hah. There doesn’t seem to be much rhyme or reason to which guitar goes where in the deck; for instance, the 2 of spades is a black BC Rich Warlock with red striping, while the 3 of spades is an old-style wood-bodied resonator guitar, the 4 looks like an old plywood-burst Teisco, and the 5 is a black lefty Gretsch. I do love that the cards feature a wide variety of guitars and basses instead of the usual Strat-Tele-Les Paul mix most people seem to default to.The cards themselves are better quality than any cheap deck I’ve handled before, but I’m not a card player or a gambler, so my only experience is blackjack, war with siblings, and variations of solitaire. I’ve never handled a high end deck of cards, but these are notably nicer than anything you would get in a grocery store or a gas station.Any guitarist should love these; just looking through them feels like a good use of time.
