Elephant Playing Cards

Available in 3 editions, not sold as a set

The team at Elephant Playing Cards (EPC) has designed and produced a lot of cards over the last few years. We are now so excited to team up with Anomaly World Studios to present our namesake creation that embodies the balance between elegance and functionality, creativity and traditionalism, custom designs and interesting themes that EPC has come to embody: Elephant Playing Cards

Elephants have been a part of human history for millennia; from work animals to warfare, they have been revered and feared. We have strived to capture the majesty and grandeur of these ancient mammals in our designs, and sought to create a fitting tribute using the highest quality materials and printing techniques. These decks represent the most intricate and functional decks of traditional playing cards that we have produced to date.

Elephant Playing Cards has been carefully crafted to maximize playability while still presenting a unique design experience. The number cards are standard with large suit indices for easy recognition and play.

Desert Edition:

From the dusty heart of Africa comes the Savanna Elephant; massive and resilient, they thrive in the harsh lands of the Sahara. The Desert Edition deck comes sheathed with intricate copper foil, highlighting the deep dusty browns and blacks of the earthy scheme. Fully custom Court cards, Aces and Jokers (Giant African Elephants) make this a deck that you don't want to pass on!

  • Each Court, Ace and Joker card has original illustrations
  • The box is covered in intricate copper foil
  • The cards themselves are made of premium embossed black core European card stock
  • Unique back design
  • Printed by WJPC

Tundra Edition:

From the cold and scarce Tundra, the Asian Elephant endures nature's harsh conditions with its immense strength. The Tundra Edition deck captures this icy defiance with silver foil highlighting glacial blue elements. Fully custom Court cards, Aces and Jokers (Shaggy Woolly Mammoths) create a unique combination that you don't want to miss!

  • 54 custom cards
  • Each Court, Ace and Joker card has original illustrations
  • The box is covered in intricate silver foil with blue highlights
  • The cards themselves are made of premium embossed black core European card stock
  • Unique back design

Night Edition:

The darkest partner of the series, the Arabian Elephant treads quietly through its shadowy home. The Night Edition deck captures the feel of the starry evening with deep purple and black design, boasting gold foil and gold gilding to the deck. A custom die-cut box allows the shiny edging to show through in beautiful style. This limited-edition deck is only available in select reward tiers! Deep black face design sets this deck apart.

Great Elephant Deck

I'm slightly biased because of my sobriquet, but the Elephant decks by EPC are decent. I bought the desert edition because I couldn't afford the special edition. I really like the dark browns and yellows of the color scheme. It is a pretty impressive tuck, visually beautiful and sturdy. The cardstock is a legit contender for some companies like legends or WPC and the like. Then again, who wouldn't expect the Chinese people to be decent at working paper. If you're into the design I highly suggest. For more reviews and pictures hmu on Instagram @lf_antrider.

Beautiful and handle well

I recently got the Tundra deck, and really like it. The back design is what attracted me. I like the faces too, particularly the color scheme. However I'd prefer the court cards be less cartoony in style. That said, it handles really well and looks gorgeous. I'd recommend it, and look forward to getting the Desert set as well.

Practical deck with stunning tuck box

My favourite part of this deck is easily the tuck box, with lots of gold foil, and a large elephant on the front, and an especially stunning design on the back of the box, corresponding to the style of the card backs. The card backs have a copper rather than gold foil look, but the elephants make them attractive. All the Aces have elephants, and the court cards (both red and black suits) have a similar look. My only concern is the card quality - this deck was printed by WJPC, so while the cards do have an embossed air cushion finish, they don't quite match the quality of USPCC or LPCC/EPCC decks and may clump slightly over time, although they are still better than your average deck. But that shouldn't stop elephant fans picking this up!
