Draconian Wight Playing Cards LPCC
The Back Card for the WIGHT Deck features a borderless optical illusion design formed from Dragon Scales. The Face Cards feature random fire / crackle fissures of Blue over a subtle light grey background. The fissures are also incorporated into the designs of the PIPs, Courts, Ace heros and Jokers. The Classic Courts are flanked with the Dragon scales spiral-shaped designs. Everything comes together to create a cool look that is also very playable!
The Draconian Wight Playing Cards printed by LPCC is another great deck for cardistry because of the back design.
This is a great deck from Midnight Cards. There's a great theme and nice blue coloration that weaves its way all thru the deck. We start with a nice white box inlaid with some very deep metallic blue. The backs of these cards are borderless, featuring beautiful shades of blue and a symmetrical swirled dragon tail design. The fronts of these cards are completely custom all thru the deck, even the two thru ten cards. The backgrounds are white with a sort of cracked stone wall background. All fonts and all pips are completely custom, with clubs and spades being black, and hearts and diamonds being blue. The court cards are fashioned after standard court cards, but with some nice embellishment, as well as a white, black, and blue color scheme. There are two full sized custom jokers, which are slightly different from one another, featuring a sword, shield, and dragon design. The dragon is also prominent on the ace of spades. The other aces, although not as prominent as the ace of spades, do feature some minor embellishments as well. Altogether, this is quite a nice deck, and a worthy addition to a collection.
This was a Kickstarter deck that followed Randy's successful Draconic and Knights trio of decks Kickstarter project. This is basically a recolouring of the original Wildfire deck. Instead of the black and green theme, he instead went with the ice cool theme of blues, white and light grey. It was inspired by Game of Thrones according to Randy. It rounds up his Dragon and Knight set with 2 Knights and 2 Dragons deck.
Also printed by Legends on their Classic finish, it will handle well for different uses. So this will be a matter of preference for you as to which colours you prefer.
I've had my eyes on this deck for some time now. Finally placed an order and just received them and they do not disappoint. The box looks great and doesn't feel cheap, there is a subtle foil inlay that pops nicely when caught at the right angles. The cards are beautiful and feature Dragon scales spiraling outward to the borderless edges. Custom faces and court cards tie it all in together carrying on the color scheme found on the back. The deck is printed by LPCC. Only thing I am not to wild about is the card stock. The cards are still great and handle and fan well, I'm just partial to thinner more flexible cards. The only other gripe is with myself...I waited too long to get these and now that I got them and love them, the other colors are sold out (I own the Wights) If you have a chance to get these cards I highly recommend them.
