Clockwork Empire City Playing Cards USPCC

Very aesthetically pleasing deck, and an amazing work of art. The flip book animation is an great addition to this industrial style deck, and honestly something I appreciate every time I riffle through the cards. The deck is almost alive with all the various subtle pieces that move within the design on both the front and back of each card.

Fig. 23 simply makes fun custom decks. Huge amount of flip animation on this deck, both on the backs and the faces. I love the moving gears. This deck is a little busy, so is probably mostly a novelty or collector's item... and it makes a wonderful addition. Highly reccommend

I'm not quite sure what to say about this deck or how to describe it, it's extremely unique. First of all, the back design is very "industrial revolution". Also, the back design appears to be symmetrical, but there are actually tiny differences to every back so as to make the back design into a "flip book animation". As simplistic as the two identical jokers are, they work for this deck, clean and with a nice color palette. The deck is completely custom on both the court cards and the spot cards. Traditionalists might criticize this deck for a lack of actual "faces" on the court cards, but those with a discerning eye will notice that there is another "flip book animation" on the card fronts as well, and being able to incorporate that meant that there would be less detail on the individual courts themselves. This is a cool deck, and I don't know enough about it even tho it is in my own collection. I need to study this further, but as it is, I'd say four stars is fair.
