INTRICATE ART, INSIDE & OUT
Citizens are the most intricate, breathtaking playing cards Theory11 has ever produced. Illustrated in America by Kevin Cantrell, every aspect was handcrafted with relentless, unrivaled attention to detail.
For the first time, Theory11 combined gold foil, hot stamping, and bronze foil to create a box design that's eye catching, elegant, and sophisticated.
Attention to Detail
NO DETAIL WAS OVERLOOKED
Even the inside of the box has a breathtaking, intricate guilloche pattern. The Joker and back design bear the Latin phrase "Audentes Fortuna Iuvat." Fortune favors the brave. The Ace of Spades features an iconic Citizen "C" emblem.
This is an gorgeous deck, from the gold and embossing on the exterior of the tuck case to the gold printing on the interior , to the nice backs and detailed ace of spades. Elegant Joker
This is by far my favorite theory11 deck. I think the tuck box is amazing. The cards look really great and I personally love the coloring. The cards handle really well, and look really nice in flourishes. I also really like how the deck comes with a double backer. I highly recommend you buy this deck.
I don't know how Theory 11 does it, but they know how to make luxurious feeling cards for pretty darn cheap. The design is elegant and the tuck case is absolutely showcasing the intricacies of the deck. Citizens uses a nice gold foil for its court cards that highlights the all too familiar standard courts. That makes this deck perfect for both gaming and magic. Along with the duplicate jokers and double backer, this deck will sure not disappoint, especially if you're into elegant playing cards.
Theory11 got it right with these. The case has this intricate pattern with black, gold and bronze colors that make it pop. The cards have a similar intricate design on the back with the white boarders (which I prefer) that look great when fanned and should last. The cards fronts are a little boring until you get to the face cards that share that bronze look found on the case and backs. Very happy with these!
