Carbon Diamond Marked Playing Cards

Carbon Diamond Edition is one of two decks designed for the element Carbon. The other being Graphite. The Diamond Edition was designed with magicians in mind with its premium Bee stock and included marking system. The two-way back design features a familiar central circle design element originally made popular by the Tally-Ho Circle Backs. The design here is meant to represent a round-cut diamond using a mosaic of various shapes and shades of black and white. The darker background coupled with this mosaic give off an optical illusion of a diamond shimmering in the light. The four circles placed around the perimeter of the round-cut diamond represent the 4 valence electrons carbon contains, as well as familiar place-setting prongs often found in jewelry to hold gems in place. Around the perimeter of the diamond you will also see the words "Diamond Edition."

Features include:

  • One time print run 2500 decks, printed by USPCC
  • Premium Bee stock with air cushion finish
  • 56 fully custom cards including 3 Jokers and 1 gaff card
  • Fully custom tuck with custom seal
  • Traditional cut
  • Two-way back design
  • Fully marked deck with easy-to-read value and suit, learn here

Great deck

This is a very well made deck that has a crazy marking system that I seriously doubt anyone could just walk up to and point out the markings. Once you get used to the markings it’s not so bad.

Nick Nisco has shown some creativity here by producing two different decks with different functions and purposes for a single elemental set. Here I'm highlighting one of them.

The Carbon Diamond Edition is spectacular. It has a very deceptive and ingenious marking system that will require some practice, but will not be found out by spectator. In fact, I couldn't even see the marking system without a guide on how to read it. It's very cleaver and combines elements of a traditional coded marking system (for suits) with a somewhat reader back design (for value).

The cards handle well as expected from USPCC and it caters very well to magicians and card mechanics. The diamond edition is clean and has a fine cut quality to it that is indicative of the diamonds that it's namesake is based off. A must for collectors and magicians
