Brooklyn 101 Back v2 Red Marked Playing Cards

"To those who can see, no explanation is necessary. To those who cannot, no explanation is possible."

The secret is out: our decks are, without a doubt, the greatest marked decks ever made. Seen from an incredible distance with just a quick glance, without ever confusing one card for another - these are a card worker's dream.

A full 8-page manuscript detailing the history, creation process, effects, and of course marking system will be made available for free download upon purchase, upon request.

Our Red Launch Edition is widely regarded as the first deck from The Expert Playing Card Company to surpass USPCC quality. A crowning achievement for their years of hard work. Our Second Edition matches that stock exactly.

Smooth but controlled, buttery but snappy, with the softest of edges right out of the box: they are a pleasure to handle - and especially Faro.

With perfectly thin borders surrounding a vintage diamond pattern, the back design is the most unassuming and minimal possible.

Modeled after the very rare "Inverted Jenny" stamp, our tuck box is classic, elegant, and simple. Prized for containing a misprinted upside-down plane, the Inverted Jenny shows that sometimes there is great value that others cannot see.

The deck includes standard faces, a familiar-feeling Ace of Spades, and 2 brand new identical Jokers.

"The fewer men, the greater share of honour."
- William Shakespeare

A Great Yet Challenging Deck

As far as secret markings go, the method employed here is absolutely invisible to an unknowing eye. I don't know which came first, this deck or Tenyo's Hyper-Cards. If you know that prop, the methodology here is the same and this deck version is naturally more complex than Tenyo's since more cards are involved. It does take some training to see, and like the 'Hyper-Cards', the further away you are, the easier it is. This isn't a marking method for general up-close, waist-level magic. You can't look down and immediately see without looking suspicious. At more of an angle and moderately extended arm distance, it gets pretty easy. This property give this deck superiority over most others. For distant card or e.s.p. demonstrations, it has brain burning potential. All in all it's a very clever and well inked system and impossible to be spotted by anyone not in the know. If they examine the back all they see are diamonds, all identical. The card stock is very good; fairly stiff, well inked and coated. The edges are very comfortable with mostly smooth with a very small roughness for gripping and handling. They run very smoothly. Consider a Si-Stebbin's arrangement and cutting procedure with this deck, massive magic potential! For the price, certainly recommended!
