Belmont Playing Cards

Belmont Playing Cards are a collaborative project by Dark Arts Press, Jared Kopf, and Hanson Chien Production Co. (HCPC) With dynamic art and peerless paper quality, Belmont Playing Cards have just the right snap and finish, as well as images that seem to pop off the surface and enter the world.

Influenced by the images in the Tarot de Marseille of medieval France, the pips are simple and vibrant, and the court cards reveal countless stories. Notice the eyes: they are looking somewhere. Notice the hands: they are doing something. Shuffle the cards, lay out several in a row, and simply ask, "What are they saying?" The cards will always deliver a message. Shuffle again, and the story will change.

On behalf of Dark Arts Press and HCPC, I can tell you that Belmont Playing Cards are for everyone: collectors, gamers, cardists, magicians, and cartomancers alike. If you enjoy playing with and in the shadows, Belmont Playing Cards were made for you.

Belmont Playing Cards

Over all a nice deck. The cards handle well and the retro face is a nice touch. The modern card stock is great as well so that the deck will stand up well in regular play. My only knock on the deck is the cheap looking box the deck comes in but that's minor at best.

Love the nod to early decks

Love this deck's nod to early decks in both style and color use. The Joker is interesting and unusual while maintaining a traditional feel. I fine the slight angle of the back design a little distracting, but not overly so
