I'm not a huge fan of the index font, and the design is a bit busy in my opinion, but I otherwise like the deck!
I am a sucker for themed decks, especially when it's about the wonders of space. I'll be honest though, in that this is my least favorite deck regarding the space theme as well as other PCD playing cards. I like the pips, but I think the back design and court cards could be better. I will say that these cards will not disappoint in the handling department, which is this deck's saving grace. The handling is what makes this deck one that I can play around with. If you like the design from the preview pictures, then this won't disappoint.
This novelty deck is a delightful creation that will please anyone who has an interest in space and space travel, in light of its unique theme. The Kings are all depicted as astronauts, while the Queens and Jacks represent space travelers. The card backs have a futuristic look with neon lights, and this look carries over to the number cards, which are highly customized with unique red and blue pips. The star-gilded version (available separately) is even more impressive, if you really want luxury looks.
I learned of this deck through a deck review by David From Magic Othodoxy. After his review, I decided to give these cards a try. I'm not really a card fanatic or a collector but these are cool enough to keep in your collection. These cards are made bu the US Playing Card Corporation and are pretty nice! Since they have a limited run and because of the unique theme, this deck may be worth hanging on to. The fact that they throw some gaff cards along with the deck will appeal to any magician. If you have a space theme and want some cards that are out of this world, get a pack of these before they fly away!
I got this deck in my pip box, and then again in a mystery pack. They are good cards, I just wish I knew who the people were on the face cards. It would have been better with a description card.
