All existence is impermanent. A nature marked by endless states of coming into being and passing away - a flux of arising and ceasing. The Anicca deck plays up this cycle of birth, growth, decay and demise with novel combinations of the familiar motifs of vitality and death; illustrating that they are all but parts of a whole.

No Matter What, a Must-Have

I purchased this deck at the same time as the Metallic Blue version; while I'm glad I did, there's definitely some pretty noticeable differences between the two decks. For one, the palette is super muted, which typically does appeal to me but I prefer the Metallic Blue iteration. As well, this is not a Bicycle branded deck, so when matched with the Metallic Blue, it is a little jarring, but almost makes it more beautiful. In saying all of that: this artwork is siiiiick. The AoS is stellar, the Jokers are unreal and the tuck is fantastic. You absolutely must add this to your collection, especially if you have the Metallic Blue version.

Almost But Not Quite

I purchased the deck in Metallic Blue first and the contrast of that deck makes it much better than this one so if you can only afford one, go with the Metallic Blue. But if Metallic Blue brought you here, worry not cause this is an awesome addition to it. The Bicycle branding is gone from the tuck box which in a way gives this deck room to breath on its own. Very satisfied.
