Air Deck 3.0 is made with the same high-quality materials as the original, but there’s a few new things:
- Five fresh new designs voted on by our community.
- The boxes now have indents to make them easier to open.
- We'll be planting even more mangrove trees to offset our emissions many times over. We believe being a climate positive company is important. 1 tree gets planted for every two decks sold.
In the process of selecting the material we sought advice from several playing card professionals. The end result is a deck that shuffles and handles like you expect professional cards to do. The cards are slightly textured on both sides to provide cushioning and excellent handling.

I was so excited to see these restocked, picked up the Geometric back. Plastic cards can swing hard in quality, but these feel like my KEMs in both how springy they are and how smoothly they handle. While I'm not positive that a vertical half-deck actually saves all that much space in my backpack, they have the profile of a thick pack of chewing gum if you're tossing them in your pocket.
The novelty of the size will start conversations, and they feel great. The box probably won't hold up all that long with actual use though. What a shame there's no Carat EDC sleeve in this size. I'll probably pick up another couple of these before they sell out again to cycle through.
I would have thought they would have run out of ideas, but they keep pumping these little cards out. I love these retro designs because of their geometrical nature. Not much could be said about these cards that both my previous reviews of other decks as well as other reviewers have said, but I can definitely appreciate the company's vision and environmental conscience. I love when companies give back, whether back to nature or to communities. Support this company and their awesome cards!
My wife and I have started a new tradition of playing cards when we go out for food and drink. I am looking forward to using these! They are a perfect size and waterproof is necessary when playing near food and drink.
These are a really fun set of cards, the pattern on the back of the design is lovely, and I really enjoy how they handled the faces. As a heads up, when they say these are waterproof, they really really mean it. They're incredibly slippery! I don't mind the slip of the cards, but that paired with how bendable and springy they are, they can be incredibly hard to shuffle without them exploding everywhere (which I suppose also helps with the shuffling). I do like how portable they are and that I don't have to worry about anything happening to them while out and about.
My only (minor) complaint is how thin and bendy/springy they are. That said, it's great that I can carry the deck in my pocket, have playing cards handy for whenever I need them, and they're waterproof. I got the retro back, and love the design.
