We play a lot of card games at our house, so this had my interest immediately. It's especially useful for games where you have a large hand, and where it's important to sort the cards out. There are small round protectors made of green felt at the bottom of the holder to ensure it doesn't damage your table. The product itself is made out of wood and looks attractive. The four slots are spaced apart, although one of the slots in one of the two holders was narrower than the others, so the quality control was slightly lacking. But the slots have different depths, so the cards placed in any back slot are higher than the cards in any front slot - a very handy feature.
