I love everything about this deck

One of my things is paper cranes, so when I saw this deck, I knew I needed to buy it. It doesn't disappoint. The reds and blues of this deck are rich and deep, causing everything to look like has been folded using high-quality origami paper. The face cards are beautiful and striking origami renditions of the court figures.

The cards feel good in the hand. I think the iconography is still classic enough that the deck is playable for a night of cards. The deck does beg for a magic trick to be designed around it and an origami theme. The design on the back makes for some very interesting fans, and the overall look and feel will please cardists. In the end, though, I recommend anyone buy this deck to add to their collection.

Another excellent Valenzuela design

This is another Riffle Shuffle / Adrian Valenzuela project, imaginative and lovely. Even the pips and indices have been designed to look like they could actually be origami folded, and the court card designs are absolutely unique. Everything is blue and red. Thick, quality cards. The aces and court card indices could take some getting used to in a card game situation, particularly in low light, but this deck is more likely to please cardists and collectors than those expecting use around the table. Not for those who need their face cards to actually have faces, although these adaptations are creative and fascinating.
