Wild Playing Cards Hidden Seek-N-Find Animals Deck

Talk about a WILD! deck of cards!  Try these HIDDEN IMAGE playing cards on for size!  They add a new dimension of fun to a deck of cards that are suitable for all card games.  This WILD! "Hidden Image" deck of cards features 54 beautiful illustrations of Wild animals from all over the World.   From polar bears and tigers, to snakes and whales.    From the tiniest of insects to the larger Mammals, this deck will delight animal lovers of all ages and those that like their cards a little...WILD!

While the deck is called WILD! because it features 54 beautiful illustrations of Wild animals from all over the World, the part that makes even more fun is the fact that have created "hidden images" throughout the deck.  For example, if you take the 8 of diamonds you will find 8 diamonds "hidden" on the card face.  Or if you look at the 5 of spades you will see 5 spades "hidden" right on the card face!  Can you find all of the hidden images?

But that's not all! While we have hidden the suit signs (hearts, diamonds, clubs and spades) or 'Pips' on each card face, we have has also placed tiny little snails (we call it 'Where's Woody') all through the deck - can you find them all?

This is a LIMITED EDITION deck from Newt's Games & Playing Cards and was the first ever custom deck of cards that we published.  WILD!

ABOUT THIS TYPE OF ART:
This type of art isn't really new as it has been around since the late 1800s.  We just love this type of art so much that we continue to create more decks with it.  In the "old days" this type of art was called "semi-transformational" but we call it "hidden images".  "Semi-transformation" just means that the suit signs or "pips" are hidden in the picture...which is exactly what these decks do.  They are 'transformed' in a subtle and fun way just like they did in the late 1800s.

Are you good enough to find all of the hearts, clubs, diamonds and spades?

ABOUT THE DECK:
This fun deck of playing cards features WILD! animals in their natural habitat.  The cards are poker sized (2-1/2" x 3-1/2") and can be used for all your standard card games.  This is just a normal deck of playing cards with custom faces  and "hidden images" to add to the fun.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Peter Wood is an independent artist living in the United Kingdom.   He has a flame for creating unique decks of playing cards and has done so for several years.  To date he has created this deck and 3 others specifically for Newt's that have been printed.  Peter has also created decks for US Games, Inc., Piatnik and other card makers/publishers around the world.

Can you find the pips on the wild animal pictures?

Designed by Peter Wood, the cards all have beautiful illustrations of wild animals from around the world, each featuring a different animal with unique artwork. All your favourites are included: large animals like polar bears, tigers, and whales; dangerous animals like snakes and crocodiles; curiosities like kangaroos and puffins; birds like peacocks and toucans; and tiny insects and butterflies.

This deck comes along with two special challenges. Firstly, each card has pips hidden in the artwork. For example, the 7 of Diamonds has 7 diamond pips cleverly incorporated into the artwork, and it's part of the challenge to find these disguised items. The second challenge is to find the tiny snail (Woody) hidden throughout the deck.

This deck is truly a delight for animal lovers, especially because the artwork is the real focus of every card, enclosed in a rectangular frame with white borders that helps emphasize the picture. At the same time the indices are all very standard, so when holding a hand of cards you can still clearly see the suit and value of each card, making this a very playable deck at the same time.

Created in 2003, this deck doesn't have the quality Bicycle air cushion finish that we've come to expect from decks in the modern crowd-funding era. Te cards have a smooth finish, but still fan quite evenly. - BoardGameGeek reviewer EndersGame
