Card Game Rules

Snip Snap Snorem is a classic shedding type game for 3 or more players. The game requires a standard 53 playing card deck, with Kings high and Aces low. The objective of Snip Snap Snorem is to be the first to lose all of your cards.

Set Up

Before gameplay can begin, a dealer must be selected. To do so, players must choose a random card from a shuffled deck. The player with the lowest card becomes the dealer. Ties are broken with repeated drawings. The dealer shuffles the deck and passes out all of the cards face down to every player one at a time.

How to Play

The player left of the dealer begins gameplay by placing any card in the middle of the game area. Going clockwise, players try to complete the set. For example, if the first person played a 7 of Clubs, the next player would try to play a 7 of Spades, Diamonds, or Hearts. Players can play pairs or a three of a kind if they can. If a player cannot build on the set, their turn is passed. The player who lays down the fourth card begins the next set.

Players must say either Snip, Snap, or Snorem when building on a set (Snip for second card, Snap for third, and Snorem for fourth).

The first player to play all of their cards wins the game.
