Woodland Wanderings Playing Cards

This deck comes in a lovely two-part lidded box with floral art just about anywhere it will fit.

Similarly, each card is packed with cozy flora and fauna designs. I would note that each set of cards have the same art; for example, each 2 has the same image of a grasshopper in the same color. This means that differentiating suits on cards of the same value is only done by the index.

The card stock is larger than regular poker cards, is rather stiff, and has a smooth finish unlike the linen “air cushion” finish of popular cards such as USPCC cards.

The duplicate coloration and smooth finish lend these cards to casual games that prioritize values over suits, like Go-Fish or Solitaire.

These are beautiful, and I imagine would be excellent for younger kids; the card stock is a bit heavy for regular adult use. Each rank is a different animal -- jacks are rabbits and queens are bees, which tickled me.
