The Harmony Collection Playing Cards USPCC

All 4 decks are wonderfully illustrated with busily detailed tuck cases and one way card backs - the latter of which borrowing art from the former to create a unique layout. Each number card and ace also contains line art, some of which is pulled from the tuck and/or back of the card. All of this creates a beautiful continuity throughout the cards. With such a wide variety of images and attention to detail, it is surprising to see the same illustration repeated each of the numbered cards and aces of each suit - that is, all of the 2s have the same image, all of the 3s have the same image, and so on. This design element is carried through all 4 Harmony decks. However, it is even more surprising to discover all of the Jacks, Queens, and Kings also have the same design only colored differently from the same color palette. Never the less, the cards are gorgeous and create a wonderful fan design (which is the only cardistry move I can mostly do). I just wish the busy details - seemingly representing the abundance of life worth preserving - was a more widely cohesive theme.
