Classy and nice reader deck

I have several Superior brand cards -- normal decks and gaffed. Superior backs have an elegant classic look and the faces are a nice change from the USPCC faces. They handle nicely too! I recently got these at a sale price and am very glad I did. They are a nice addition to my growing arsenal of Superior decks for magic routines and deck switches. I give this deck a five stars minus a smidgen! This is because the 4H and AH require extra scrutiny to detect the card -- the markings are too similar! For some this may not be an issue. For those of us with bifocal glasses and elderly vision it is a bit of an extra challenge. There is only a small chance that one of these two will be selected and I have not yet had either of these selected in a trick (such as the no deck exchange "You Do as I Do" ). If they do pick one of those it requires a little longer and potentially risky scrutiny to read the card. For that reason I give the deck just a tad under 5 stars. A change in the design with an open top "4" would remedy this. If you have trouble, like me, distinguishing the 4H and AH do what I did: Use an ultrafine red sharpie to put a small dot on the 4 to open the top of the 4 on the 4H! Hopefully EPCC will alter the "4" markings in a revised version 2 so that that fix is not needed. In spite of this don't let it dissuade you from buying these decks.

Superior is releasing more special trick decks and gaff cards -- making these very desirable decks for the magician.
