Low price, high bling! This novelty deck makes an immediate impression, and looks stunning when it catches the light. It's made entirely of foil, so once you pull out the cards, you're left with a sturdy case that is a conversation piece on its own.
The box features a $100 bill in US currency in gold/silver foil, artwork returning on the card backs, which have the same shiny foil artwork and design as the tuck box. The card faces have borders and background with a rough texture that catches the light from every angle.
The courts have a traditional look, including the addition of colours. The red/black pips seem to be standard until you look at them closely; they actually have layers of colour, creating a hypnotic effect when viewed from different angles. All the indices are functional and clear, making the deck very usable.
The cards have a somewhat plastic feel; perhaps some process has added a metallic coating over a plastic core. It handles differently than a usual deck, but isn't so slippery that it can't be used. But it sure has the appearance of value, despite the low cost, so if you want to impress people with a luxury look without blowing your budget, this is a deck for you.
