It fits most decks from the major playing card printers (including Cartamundi, EPCC, HPCC, LPCC, TWPCC and USPCC) and its low profile allows you to store your decks as you normally would on your shelf, in your drawer, in storage boxes or anywhere else.

Great Protection

These are very high-quality deck sleeves that are small and light but provide great protection. They arrive flat so they are easy to store, but go together quickly when you need them. Great price in this squantity too.

Third time's the charm!

Third time's the charm. I've once again reconsidered my opinion on these cases. They are a great buy. I like the UV protection aspect of them. They keep decks sturdy by giving them a protective shell. They don't fit ALL decks, but they fit a lot of them. I think that for the preservation of decks, they are a GREAT idea. I'm glad I bought a whole bunch of them! The cases are clear. The film comes off. You must assemble each one because them come flat in a stack, but I think it's definitely worth it for the long haul. Once you get the hang of folding them into their forms, it's pretty straightforward. Thanks for offering this product. FINAL ANSWER.

Must Have for Collectors

I've been using Carat DS1s for a while, and I cannot understate how great they are. For 60 cents, each sleeve gives a great amount of protection. You DO have to peel off the protective coating and assemble them yourself, but I find it meditative and enjoyable to do. Nearly all the decks in my collection are Bicycle brand, and they fit in the sleeves PERFECTLY. Whenever I needed to remove decks from them, a gentle shake was all it took.

The ONLY downside I've found is that the sleeve adds a non-trivial amount of thickness to the deck, which makes it tough, dangerous, or just impossible to put the deck in some display cases or storage boxes.

On second thought... not sure.

A lot of decks look like they fit, but don't. I bought so many of these sleeves. A lot of my collection is in them, and some of them isn't. I'm packing it all up for long term storage. It's difficult to say whether the required assembly of the sleeves was worth the time. A plus is that you realize how many cards you've bought. They make a nice solid protector, but the decks aren't always easy to get in and out. Sometimes, I have to take the bottom apart to push them out. It would be nice if they made these bigger, but then again, that takes up space then. I don't like my first review, so I marked it as inappropriate. Well, 500 sleeves later, I have trouble with realizing why I bought them. Sorry for the first review. I hadn't realized some of the bad points. That, and they all have a film on them that can be removed. It's clear, but it bunches up on it, so I guess it's best to remove it during assembly. Sorry for the bad news. I didn't want to deliver false hope.

After awhile of folding flaps, it's probably LIKE Cardistry.

You have to get the hang of it if putting them on a lot of decks. First, I had to figure out how it went together. I realized there is a film on the outsides of them, like I read in the description. Initially, I didn't know if I should take it off or not. I probably should have taken it off, since I boxed up 200 of them. The film is cloudy. The sleeves are clear. You get 50 in a pack. I worked out a system of how I prop them open, flip it, fold the bottoms together in a sequence of: side flaps, two pronged flap, with the prongs tucked under the side flaps, and then the one that tucks in kind of pushes it all together. Then I put the card deck in, and finish the top flaps. Don't stuff oversized card decks in them. If you do that, I figured you might wreck your decks when taking them out again. I tried getting some out and had to undo the bottom flaps to push them through and out of the top. Most decks fit. However some look like they fit, but really don't. If a card deck doesn't slide into the sleeve easily, it's probably not a good idea to put it into the sleeve. Don't squish your decks. I just ordered more of these. I'm thinking about long term storage. I purchased all these cards. I want to preserve them. It takes awhile. All your decks won't magically get into the sleeves. I think it's worth it. It's a decent price. A lot of card deck holders are more expensive. Depending on how many decks you have and how good you are with the sleeves that's how long it takes.
